MISSION
To design, develop, and implement, accessible, affordable, agile, adaptable and continuously improving solutions to the problems that prevent individuals, businesses, governments and society from achieving the sustainable resilience required to prosper.
There was a severe lack of digital and cybersecurity literacy & resilience long before the COVID-19 pandemic. The world is rapidly becoming techno-centric and governed by economies where data dominates a changing commercial landscape.
In this new era, cybersecurity resilience and technological literacy is no longer optional, but instead an indispensable prerequisite to survival. Cybersecurity threats alone are projected to cost the global economy up to $6 trillion by 2021.
Governments worldwide have accumulated tremendous debt through their efforts to keep nations from collapsing during this pandemic, but now it is up to all of us to build the society that cost so much to preserve.
Pathbreaker offers the tools and support that companies, individuals and governments need to achieve stability and resilience. As a consultancy driven by a continuously growing think tank, we offer a host of innovative solutions, such as advanced rapid knowledge-transfer capabilities. Pathbreaker equips people with the skills, tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves and their businesses, remain competitive in the digital economy, and to find relief from the burdens of this uncertain era by imparting resiliency and self-sustainability.
Everything we do is made possible by the extraordinary individuals that drive our innovation and push us to achieve more every day - our team.

Founder & CEO
Patrick Scolyer-Gray, B.A. (Hons), PhD.
Dr Patrick Scolyer-Gray is a Cyber-Sociologist; a socio-technical specialist who employs and leverages social scientific methods, theories and concepts to analyse the intersections of technology and society at the micro, meso and/or macro-social level(s).
Patrick's transdisciplinary work is usually focused on the identification and explanation of where, how and why tension or friction has (or has not) manifested, which he pairs with analyses of the associated implications (social, political, economic, technological, strategic etc.).
Using an analytical approach grounded in the critical perspective afforded by his unique position as an outsider (i.e., as a social scientist working in the domain of the physical sciences), Patrick develops and delivers solutions to problems he identifies or encounters by synthesising new insights and techniques borne out of his unique combination of experience, knowledge and expertise with technology and what is commonly known as the 'human factor'.
Patrick's applies his unique blend of sociological, anthropological and technical skills to his work in cybersecurity and computer science, and has established a reputation for cultivating a unique, highly dynamic and effective culture of cross-disciplinary innovation.
